K&N's – a founding
pillar and beacon
for Pakistan’s
poultry industry -

operations in 1964. |
Q: What is ‘integrated
poultry operations’?
|
A:
‘Integrated poultry
operations’ is
managing and
controlling all
stages of poultry
production under one
umbrella to ensure
quality and
food-safety.
K&N's manages
poultry breeding,

(Islamic Zabeeha)
strictly according
to The Shariah. |

consist of any
steroids?
|
A:
Feed
Milling is an
integral part of
K&N’s integrated
poultry operations.
The diet for K&N’s
chickens is based on
natural grain
products such as
corn, corn gluten,
rice and wheat; oil
seed meals such as
soybean, canola and
sunflower; fish;
oyster shells
supplemented with
multi-vitamins and
minerals. Thus,
K&N’s chickens enjoy
the benefit of a
healthy and

the

Q: What is meant by
‘skinless’ sausages?
|
A:
Predominantly,
sausages in the
world are produced
in animal casings,
or skinless (without
intestines), using
advanced equipment
and technology. If
intestines are used
they stay on and end
up being a ‘skin’ on
the sausage. Since
casings are
imported, there is
no guarantee of
these being ‘Halal’.
Thus, we at K&N's,
decided to produce
‘SKINLESS’
sausages by
implementing high
technology.
To prepare our Deli
Line sausages,
international
standard, food
grade, cellulose
casings are used,
which are then
peeled off using
automatic peeler,
thereby bringing you
‘skinless’ sausages.
So all K&N's Deli
Line sausages are
‘skinless’ (that is,
without casing),
which can be enjoyed
without worrying
about their skin.
|
Q: Is K&N's chicken
expensive?
|
A:
When
purchasing fresh
chicken, consumers
do not take into
account the weight
loss due to wastage
of blood, feathers,
intestines, etc.,
which calculates to
45%.
At K&N's you get
what you pay for,
i.e. net weight of
product. If costs of
K&N's products are
calculated according
to net weight of
fresh chicken, K&N's
chicken is certainly
not expensive. When
you purchase K&N's
chicken, you not
only get premium
meat, you get
chicken that is
hygienic, safe and
healthy.
